Where this came from

After a rough night, I posted on my stories that I'd be working off my capacity the next day and pulling out one of my easier, unplanned meals. A friend wrote back asking what those meals were, because she has been running on fumes lately too.

Turns out she wasn't the only one. So here's the list, along with the rule I follow so these meals are still in the freezer on the day I really need them.

What's inside

Hard-day meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner backups from my own freezer and pantry. Nothing fancy, and that's the point.

Hard day or lazy day?

The one rule that keeps your backup meals from disappearing on an ordinary Tuesday, plus what I do on lazy days instead.

Keep-on-hand checklist

Check off what's already in your freezer and add the rest to your next grocery order.

Comes in full color and a printer-friendly version.

Feeding your family on a hard day is still faithfulness
